The Gwydir Wetlands State Conservation Area (SCA), near Moree, is once again open to the public as bird life returns to this internationally recognised wetlands. <p> Visitors can expect to see a range of colonially-nesting species, including straw-necked Ibis, intermediate egrets, glossy ibis and nankeen night-herons.&nbsp;</p> <p> Access is available for the day during dry weather. No overnight camping is permitted, however there are facilities close by at a local property called &#39;Boyanga South&#39;.</p> <p> Please check in with either the Tourism Moree Inc.
