Opening Celebrations at 5:30pm | Free entry & open bar. From the private collection of the Moffitt family comes an exhibition of cartoons & drawings collected by the 'bohemian judge' Herbert Moffitt. This exhibition provides a unique perspective of Australian life through the eyes of satrical newspaper cartoonists. Artists include George Lambert, Norman Lindsay, Henry Lawson, Kenneth Slessor, Banjo Paterson & Mary Gilmore. Moree Plains Gallery is offering visitors a rare chance to see this collection in itts entirety before it is archived at the National Library of Australia. OPENING TIMES: Monday- Friday 10am- 5pm, Saturday 10am-1pm.
