Join us on Friday 5th October for the opening of People Like Us, as artist and UNSW Associate Professor John McGhee discusses the interrelationship between art, technology and the human experience.
Using virtual reality goggles, heart rate monitors, a rideable bicycle and much more, the exhibition focuses on the capacity new media and new technologies offer humans (specifically artists) to experiment with ideas and interpret information. Interactivity plays a key role in this exhibition with a wide variety of opportunities for visitors to engage with artworks.
Don't miss your chance to freely explore the works during their opening night and discuss the intricacies of their meaning with one of the artists!
